iLogos Dev delivers a promo game for the world’s largest food and beverage company.
Nestlé is the largest food company in the world. It owns more than 8,000 brands and operates in 191 countries. For over 150 years, Nestlé has offered products and services for all stages of life and every moment of the day, helping people care for themselves and their families.
Despite its popularity, Nestlé is constantly looking for new ways to attract and retain clients. They came to us with the idea of developing a promo web app (a game) to complement a new brand advertising campaign. The web app needed to perform well in both desktop and mobile browsers.
Our client’s story was used as the basis for creating the app’s art objects and game design.
To meet the tight deadline – one month from concept to first release – we applied the Scrum methodology. Working in Scrum, we managed to accurately plan the art, development, and game design. The whole development process was divided into iterations, and at the end of each we delivered a new build.
Using emerging technologies including HTML5 and Spine 2D plus approaches for optimizing code, animations, and art content, we achieved stable app performance on both desktop and mobile platforms.
The bright and entertaining promo web game is available for everyone on the product promo landing page. The app has demonstrated great performance, allowing more than 100,000 people to play at the same time.
This new advertising campaign has allowed our client to significantly grow the popularity of its product and stand out from competitors.
